While living in Ireland, I picked up photography as a hobby, and learnt everything about it on my own and from studying photography-related materials on the Internet.
In 1998, I joined the biggest photographic club in Ireland, the Dublin Camera Club, where I got to know about and entered various local, national, international exhibitions and competitions. I have won several competitions, also many 2nd and 3rd places.

At the Dublin Camera Club, I was giving lectures in studio photography for both beginners and advanced photographers.
I became proficient in colour printing from slides using the Ilfochrome (Cibachrome) process, which is an uncommon skill among photographers.
I was voted to be the vice president of the Dublin Camera Club for the year 2000-2001 and have been invited as a photographic judge to a few photographic competitions in Ireland.
I was regularly doing both nature photography on my regular trips to the Irish and worldwide trips, as well as studio photography to help various photographic models from all over the world to prepare/update their portfolios. Several of my photos have been published in Dubliner magazine, the John Hinde publishing house calendar and postcards, as well as the calendar of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
